Yes, it is visible. That drive shaft is almost directly under the driver seat and not covered.
Note the rust on the front u-joint and flange.
You can even turn the shaft with your hand to look for the white label. I had my two front wheels up in the air with two (3000 lb) jack stands supporting the car.
