Got the reduced engine power warning @ 20k miles and CEL. 3 Defective fuel injectors were making codes but all 8 were replaced under warranty along with coils. Only one spark plug was found to be "cracked" due to heat buildup and BMW allowed replacement. Odd that the other plugs weren't replaced. Also they found the cowl and engine cover was damaged due to heat build up.

Is the cracked cover issue related to fuel injectors and do you folks think they should have replaced all the plugs or is this OK? Car is running fine.

FYI, Noticed smoke from the tailpipes since delivery but service said it was condensation back then.
