Thanks for posting. I was really hoping that the 40d and an 8 speed auto would be added for the 2012 model. It did not make sense however after the new tri-turbo diesel engine information was released. Since the new engine is expected to make its way into the X6 this spring, I'm sure it will trickle into the X5 over the next 1-2 years.

Any idea if the eco-credit remains for 2012?
