Hello X5ers. I just wanted to post my review and impression of the mTEC H11 Golden Style 55w (standard). Got them from mTEC Lighting USA.
I didn't like the cheap looking OEM fog light bulbs and wanted something that's better looking and functional in real fog / low visibility condition. I went with mTEC for its long lasting reputation and unique golden colors, not seen on other bulbs that are just plain yellow.
The install took me about 5min. Pull out the plastic bumper grill with your finger(s) and reach behind the fog lights to remove the bulbs. Snap everything back in and you're done.
Impression: Unlike HID fog lights, these didn't glare back at me during foggy condition. In pitch dark condition, the mTEC Golden color help out with better visibility compared to the stock bulbs. Since these are the same wattage as the stock bulbs, there's no error codes. For less than $30, it was a great investment.

*If you have a pre-LCI E70, the mTEC H8 V2 Angel Eyes work out for me really well in my pre-LCI F02.
