just bought 02 x5 4.4i, navigation problem
just bought a 4.4 X5 2002, it has the navigation feature but the screen will not turn on, it stays black (it will blink like a computer screen rebooting every 30 seconds or so).the sound will come on for a little bit, maybe 5 minutes, then shut off until the car is turned off and back on again. i checked the dvd tray in the back of the car and there was no cd in it and the power light would not come on, but it would make noises like it was moving. does not having the navi DVD in the tray the reason this will not turn on? or what is it?
