Had mine replaced around 28.500 miles... according to my SA it is normal for that part to fail around 30k (don't know why the guys at M couldnt catch that in long term testing). My car didn't throw any faults but I noticed it wasn't pulling as hard. After it got replaced along with all my spark plugs at the 30k service it was pulling harder than ever. Guess I'll be replacing it in another ~30k miles if I still have my truck then.
