Just purchased a new 2011 X5 and my iPhone 4 paired perfectly. My only frustration is how ridiculously cumbersome it is to place a call to a contact on my iPhone. I miss the days in my 2007 X5 when from any screen I could say "Dial Sally Bess mobile" and the call was placed.
