This set features run flat tires which incorporate special sidewall reinforcements that support the weight of the vehicle even after sustaining air pressure losses that would render conventional tires immobile. While internal tire damage will likely make replacement necessary, these tires are designed to endure being run on at slower speeds while flat and provide drivers the temporary extended mobility necessary to drive through stormy weather and away from dangerous situations.
this set was originally made to fit X5M or X6 which is why i had sent them to a Professionally Machine Shop to shave out about 1.5mm of the center to fit any regular X5 in fact i have mounted them on my 2007 X5 4.8 last week. i have then one week with them on. i just decided i like how my X5 looks with the black 215 style.
