I'm also looking at the Pixel 2 XL and patiently waiting on the S9 although not expecting anything drastic. Biggest gripe about the Samsung phones is their shitty GUI touchwiz that's slapped on top of Android. |

Just researching Huawei P11-20 and they also look promising.
