I'm sitting here at home in Montreal while back down in Florida, my 2012 BMW X6 35i Sport is plugged into a Battery Minder model 2012. This charger isn't rated for use on an AGM type battery. It's been plugged in for about 3 weeks so far.
I only just realized that there's a possibility that my battery may be an AGM type. I'm terrified that I'm damaging my battery or even worse, possibly setting the car/house on fire.
Does anyone know where the heck I can find the specs on the OEM battery? I have the serial # but can't find battery specs, not even the capacity.
Thanks in advance for any help at all.

I'm more concerned about your state of mind....what kind of snowbird are you in Montreal in winter
. As for for AGM trickle charge concerns, I made the same mistake...did not seem to have any effect on two vehicles I put on a battery tender..in that they still work fine...doing what a battery does. Yours aye, BF -Snowbird wannabe...
