@Alex - I am trying to locate the name of the tires I replaced on the 2006, I put them on after getting about 18k miles on the run flats (actually ran over a board on the highway and drove 30 miles with a indicator light on) and had to replace ALL 4 tires at the same time since they were all about due for replacement.
I sold the car with 39k miles and the replacement tires still had about 1/4 of the tread left. The car ride chaged dramatically for the better, the ride become much more quiet and much more smoother. I think BMW did a great job making the 2011 with 20's ride much smoother. I believe my 06 4.8is had the sport suspension and I don't believe the 2011 3.5d with the sport package gets the sports suspension, I get confused with the adaptive drive option or something like that available on the 2011.
