So people are willing to avoid two holes drilled in the front bumper (and then covered by the license plate, mind you) by making holes underneath? Seems logical...

Also, for any kind of ticket it makes sense to hide the rear plate; hiding the front one does nothing, except for potentially getting 'no front plate' ticket.
