I would think that it's nearly impossible at the prepping station to verify every little possible things that can go wrong with a car. It would take too much time and would slow down the prepping process and the delivery. Like it's done with big lots of products, an item or two of a lot is taken aside and tested thoroughly and if they pass then the lot is deemed good. That does not guarantee that every units of the lot is good, some may fail.
I am not sure there is a whole lot you can do. A good talk with your salesman and possibly his/her manager might help come to an agreement for the correction of that situation.
