MPG Guage defective
So my brother got a brand new 2011 E70 X5 x3.5drive earlier this week and the MPG Guage is defective (It wouldn't give the correct reading and spend half the time sweeping back and forth even at idle). So we took it in for service and they had no idea what was the cause so they offered to replace the whole instrument cluster. My brother is not satisfied at all why a 60+K Car would have a defective cluster right out of the dealers (shouldn't this have been made aware of when they were prepping it?) Legally, what can be done? Is it possible to return the car even if they just recently processed the loan? Any advice can help. Thanks!
