I did this , holds the gears a little longer. I haven't done any dyno so don't know about the HP/torque numbers. You get a little plaque mounted under the hood saying "BMW Performance Kit" . I guess that is for notification is case they ever have to reprogram your car, then they can load the performance software instead of standard.
