Yea reminds me when I bought a cooper S when they came out in 02.....
Had the boss confirm no planed layoffs and outlook looked great! Was still in college at the time but was making a cool 25 an hour and no bills as room and board was paid for so I bought it!
3 weeks later poof company was bought and the whole office was laid off...
Man what a trip! Luckily found work right away but a scary experience.
