I'm not sure if off brand dealers can send them to auction but I know BMW dealers can't send them to auction or sell them to anyone period. If they take an effected car on trade it's gotta sit on the lot until the stop sale is lifted. Some dealers will give trade in value and some are giving alot less then trade in.
