I am trying to install running boards on 2012 X5 35i. I removed all clips and screws. I am trying to pull out the running board trim but it is not coming out. The install instructions are saying 'Unclip Panel' in the front and detach panel at the clips. Wanted to see if anyone knows if anything has changed for 2012 models. Please let me know if there are any tips to unclip the panel in the front before pulling it out.
