Downshift Jerk

Hey guys new to the forum here, have had my x6 for a year now. At 36,000kms (22,500 miles) now, been great apart from the oil pump whine (fixed by dealer) and a rattle from the rear right door (going to the dealer monday).

I have been noticing a bit of a jerk when coming to a stop, specifically from 2-1 shifts or sudden stops from 50km/h. Kinda like the article in the link below:

http://blogs.insideline.com/roadtest...gh-shifts.html

I raised this concern when the car was going in for the oil pump whine and the service advisor drove the car with me and felt it too, he advised to let it get worse as while they were fixing the car they did not find anything wrong with the transmission (i assume thats the cause) they did reprogram it though. Now its got even worse, hard jerks on every upshift when slightly cold and takes a while to downshift and still jerks on stops.

Any of you experiencing the same problem or have faced it before?

PS: My car has the newer ZF 8sp sport transmission.

Thanks
