I can't buy in the US as none of the dealers I spoke to is willing to sell to me for fear BMW will cut them off from popular vehicles and they will get stuck with slow sellers like the X3. Porsche, Audi, Toyota/Lexus, VW, and others have all dropped their Canadian prices by 5% to 8%, but BMW continues to demand -- and get -- top dollar for no reason other than that they can. Dealers here are selling every vehicle they can get their hands on.

I lust after an X6, but my lust diminishes somewhat at $100 grand.
