Acceleration, engine jerking.

A month or so later, my first used car issue with the X6. So I'm driving normally and as I hit the accelerator, the engine jerked and the check engine light came on. I know that it's not suppose to do that, so I scheduled an appointment at the Dealer.

Dealer tech found cylinder 6 ingnition coil had a short causing the engine jerking. Replacing the coil costs $475, coming from a porsche cayenne, this price was not bad. They did a 32 point inspection and everything looked good. Hopefully this will be helpful in the event this happens to someone else.

Symptoms: Engine jerking and kicking(LOL) after quick and or hard acceleration

Solution: Bad ignition coil.
