I purchased LED headlight from one of the automotive headlight sellers on eBay, do not exactly recall the name. Just search on eBay, you should be able to find some sellers. Price was somewhere in $1200 range for complete light (each) left and right. Yes, it should fit 2012 X6 5.0i as well.
