Possibly more important is the dealer service you get from BMW when something does need fixing -- for me having owned a number of BMWs it's one of the reasons I keep going back to them time and time again as the service is first rate and BMW UK has always honoured warranty and even non-warranty items that needed doing. That for me outweighs any minor issues that need fixing as its really just the same for any car you buy.
