Plasti dip is actually really great stuff....not for your entire car, but to do wheels or trim it's exceptional. Doesn't take any skill whatsoever (which is nice) and doesn't need very much masking as it peels beautifully. I painted my xdrive emblem and rear BMW surround with it and is holding up perfectly after multiple pressure washes. Just don't take it to far.
