But..

I researched more about the Burger JB tune, I was able to find this post

He said that the ecu on his 2013 X6 35i was damaged after using the JB tune.

Is the tune for 2011 X6 different from 2013 X6?

I'm quite unsure of purchasing JB tune after reading the post though.

Does anyone have experience with JB tune N55 Stage 1 for 2011 BMW X6 35i?
Hmm, interesting.

Realistically though, it's not possible to tell what caused the issue so it could have been a case of the JB4 being improperly installed, and/or just a coincidence that the computer failed while the tune was installed. I've seen a few other cases where someone doesn't connect a harness all the way, and they get reduced power messages...easily cured by ensuring everything is plugged in securely.

Also, the JB4 has some adjustable settings, so it's possible those could have been messed with as well.

The Stage 1 is a pretty mild tune in comparison.

The N54tech forums will be your best bet for feedback from those who have the tune installed.
