all benzo-based sleep aid's are inherently physically addictive, as well as any benzodiazepine. i categorically avoid all of them on a regular basis. take too many, you're on a long road of dependence. i have a bottle of valium and klonopin stashed away, but i don't hardly touch them after the ambien problem.
