I am posting the following for future member search.
The issue was with the battery, which needed replacing. It was communicated that the vehicle will try to conserve power and cut out the pump when the vehicle is turned off.
If you have self-leveling rear, leaving the vehicle sit for long periods of time will drain the battery within 2 months (wish I had known this beforehand).
Additionally, it is recommended that you do not use an aftermarket battery as a replacement - they will sometimes require a 1 hour re-program at the dealership or the problems will persist.
Unfortunatley, the battery replacement at dealer is $499.00 plus state tax.
