I never left. Started to take care of my parents as they get older.
Although the big portion of the down payment was gifted to me, I pay for everything and prefer it that way, but I'm Vietnamese so we always stay with our parents till they are no longer with us.
I'm only 34 and not married, so maybe it isn't a big deal yet
