I currently have a S2000, and a MDX. I am a huge fan of a hard to turn steering wheel.

I have been thinking about getting a new car, and was leaning towards the X4, but drove a X6 the other night. It was a 2012 3.5, with 20" wheels and All season tires. It was the first car in a long time that I really liked. The steering was very tight, and handled great. The next day I drove a 2014 3.5 with 19" wheels, and the steering was still tight, but it didn't feel the same. Thinking it was the tires, I drove a 2014 (5.0) with 20" rims, and it felt the same as the 3.5. I went back and drove the used 2012 again (it was at a different dealer), and it felt much better then the 2 new ones.

So, now I am confused. I want the feel of the 2012, but didn't like the config, or the miles on it. Was there a suspension, or steering change between the 2012 and 2014? (BTW, all cars did not have a way to adjust the steering, or suspension).

Also, does anyone have an idea what the X4 will drive like?
