Hi All,
I too am having issues with the rear view camera on my 2010 X5M. As others on the board have experienced, it flickers and becomes unusable. It is much worse in hot weather, so much so that around 28 degrees Celsius it simply goes black. The side cameras seem fine, as does the PDC, it's just the camera in the tailgate.
So far the camera has been replaced (under warranty) but that didn't fix it. From what CRM102B said, it seems that the cabling is the likely culprit. Has anyone else had this issue, and can let me know exactly what was replaced to fix it, so I can let my dealer know. Thanks!
