Hello,

Just purchased my first ever BMW yesterday, a 2013 X5. So I am brand new to the forum (this is my second question!)

My X5 did not come with a backup camera or rearview mirror with a garage door transmitter / compass. I'd be interested in picking up both. I've found a few out there on various websites but was wondering if anyone in the forum might have a "go-to" place for aftermarket items like this.

Also, assuming I can find these out there, would they be easy enough for any decent mechanic to put in as opposed to having to go to the BMW dealer? (I'm not handy at all so I don't know if I would attempt this myself).
