I cant answer the question regarding the diameter of the tires but I do have a solution for the TPMS sensors.
Solution... remove the sensors all together...
Yes you will lose your ability to electronically read your tire pressure... but you will not have an error message appear on the dash.
I am not sure why this works.... but I have had 4 different BMWs including my current E70 x5... all with custom wheels. I have never purchased TPSM sensors and chosen to go without...
I am not sure why this works... as with all things BMW you would think if you removed the sensors... the computer would produce an error message on the dash...
Its either a glitch or was intentionally programmed this way for people who run custom wheel setups... But I do guarantee that it works.
