for sure, its a personal choice and 21s look damn good on a car this size

for me, ive always liked a little more sidewall on my cars than most, and also prefer the lower cost of the 20 inch tires.

as for tires, im uncertain about moving away from the RFT. I had no issue with the ride quality on the x5m I test drove (20s with RFT). In my experience, sidewall support and stiff sidewalls is a key component to good, firm steering and a lack of body roll.

RFT are much stiffer than normal tires, especially PSS which are somewhat soft in the sidewall. so, typically a loss in steering sharpness, a lighter steering and sense of a little more roll/float would be the result.

IF I were to go non RFT, it would either have to be a stiff tire or a wider wheel to provide more sidewall support to account for the softer tire

JMO based on experience

with that said, what is your experience with the PSS? same size as stock?
