I can't even follow most of what you guys are talking about. I bet it gets REALLY confusing when you have two keys in play; one inside the car and one outside.
I do know that you should NOT leave your key sitting on the seat while washing the car, as mine constantly locked and unlocked while I washed the doors and kept touching the handles. So I put it about ~50 ft away in the garage while washing. Would putting it in the ignition solve this?
