I was on a long road trip and about 3 hours into the trip the idrive screen went blank for about 1 minute then the BMW logo came on just like when you start the car. It did this twice within 5 minutes of each other. I was using the Navi night mode during the trip. When I pulled off the highway at a rest service center I turned the car off and then when I re-started the car everything seemed normal. I did not loose any Navi data or current destination waypoints. I continued on my trip and return trip with no other issues. It was almost like the system was re-booting itself. Anyone had a similar experience?
