I haven't driven my Cayenne GTS for about a month (it's my wife's now) but decided to give it a spin yesterday to compare it more accurately with my X6M. I have to say the Porsche is pretty nice. It feels quicker in normal driving and more grounded than the BMW. The reason is that the GTS, in sport mode, has much more aggressive shift points and the throttle seems more sensitive plus the suspensions seems a little firmer. Plus the GTS sounds infinitely better than the X6M (which frankly sounds awful-like a sick diesel).
Don't get me wrong the BMW is great and I have no regrets but deciding between the two is akin to the debate between a X6 5.0 and the M.
