Looks great! I did the same exact thing to mine... Except after all the masking, once dried, tried cleaning up the dip and it ended up coming right off of the reflector too. Had to redo by removing the reflectors, dipping them, then reinstalling. They come of very easy though!
...and in the end, great results!
