I tape and paper masked the car. You don't "need" to mask like this but the plasti dip "dust" (overspray) gets on everything and I don't like cleaning it up.
I did 5-6 quick coats, 3-5 minutes in between to let them dry. Took maybe half a spray can.
If you want to match the texture, move the can/sprayer back a bit and you'll end up with more texture to match the bumper material.
