And the X5 50i with Dinan stage 1 or 2 has around 500 hp and probably gets to 60 in around 4.2-4.3. I haven't tested but I've had both this and the X5M and the off-the-line performance is very close.

Minor correction on the terminology. The X5 5.0i comes stock with the 400hp engine but you can get BOTH the M Sport (cosmetic) package AND the M Performance package. The M Performance package does bring the performance up to 440hp. I can vouch for this build combo because that's what I ordered and it's my dd. I love it!
Although I love the cosmetics of the ///M Model and would have loved to have the added suspension performance package that was a $4500-ish option on the 5.0i, the 0.8 second 0-60 wasn't worth the added $$$ for my wants. I'm thrilled with the options I have but one day if I win the lottery, I just might buy the ///M.
