I'm replying to what you wrote before you edited your post.
Your frustration is understandable, and while you didn't find your answer, the responses you got were with best intentions.
Having said that, I would also suggest you keep the thread open and maybe label it "E70/71 X5/6 M Rear Caliper Upgrade" or something to that effect.
I'd love to know where this journey takes you...I'm sure a lot of people on here feel the same.
