The best sound from this engine is the standard exhaust and downpipe without a catalyst. And open the flaps on the exhaust to permanently (I kept the axis welded).
Also for this engine must have cool running oil and water thermostat.

50s don't have exhaust flaps. I concur with what was said before, an X-pipe is not going to make this V8 sound like a V6.
