Unfortunately, yes. There have been many posts on this on other forums.
I had purchased the X6 wheels from a FL seller and had purchased the H&R adapters which supposedly would work. When I found they didn't, I had to have the rears bored as I couldn't return the wheels (and didn't want to sell them).
