Just wrapped my aluminum trim with 3M DiNoc CF
So after looking at all the options and going back and forth with having a pro do it, my wallet and brains prevailed. The cost for a pro was over $500 to wrap the trim as compared to $50.00 for the material, some research, a couple hours and some sore fingers from pulling the panels. While I have seen some panels door trim wrapped in place, the videos from Bavsound detail how to remove the panel. Armed with this knowledge and some door trim panel removal tools, I thought I could accomplish it. Interestingly, the pro quotes 5 hours to do the job, I did it in 4! I also did the passenger side twice as I wasn't happy with the first attempt. Make sure you use a sharp xacto knife to the bottom of each piece that is butted up against the bottom of the aluminum trim. I also used a hair dryer to wrap the edges, shrink them around the back of the trim.
