Just as you are advising the OP that he can't "afford" his BMW if he can't shell out $1000 for an exhaust, there are those that would say you can't "afford" yours because you advise to never own one out of warranty. All that comes down to perspective and priorities. Let's keep this thread focused on facts, mainly that removing the muffler from a late model BMW is childish and completely not in keeping with the character of the car. I know e90s are getting cheap now, even the N55s, sadly, but it still is not a $2000 Civic.
