I would 100% recomend you do the seals, if you are dropping that pan you might as well take an extra 30-45 minutes and do the seals.. I was at 121k and my seals were already shot, you can tell because they were sitting flush with the valve body.. they should stick out a little bit to make the proper seal. My shifting was jerky between 2nd and 3rd.. after everything was serviced the transmission is buttery smooth.
