All - not trying to start a "debate" here about how to break a car in. I think BMW has reasons for what they suggest - alas, I'm just not sure what they are

ddk632 - the guys at the PDC will tell you that they have to break the cars in per BMW's recommendations. I would be however curious what they say off the record. Of interest is that none of them are BMW employees
