Depends on if you are going to change the filter. X5 35d has a support that blocks access to two of the bolts. Either need to fab a short torx or remove the support.

1. Drain fluid
2. Remove filter
3. Clean up mess
4. Replace filter
5. Torque bolts properly
6. Follow fluid refill procedure (temp monitoring via obd)
