Why do they allow eastern Canadians on this site....?
FYI, I'm 56.
I already ordered the Battery Minder 2012 AGM, should be delivered to my buddy down south within a week. I don't trust anything but a Battery Minder due to bad experiences with other maintainers. The same bud down south had his sailboat outboard battery connected to a Battery Tender. We tried starting the boat a year later and couldn't. Turned out that the battery acid had literally hardened, the battery was obviously scrap. Never seen that in my life...
The Battery Minder cost me $100 USD. Comes with an ambient temp sensor, quick-connectors to permanently install on the battery and quick-connector clamp connectors for on-the-spot charging.
