I've been reading and researching for an intake for our engine for a while and couldn't find any intakes directly made for the X6 so decided to do one myself. The intake design of the N54 engine on the X6 is totally different from the 335i, 535i and 135i engines. It's a much simpler design with just one inlet on the top. This is the first phase of the intake, I'll be working on a better solution to stabilize it within the engine bay and will try to come up with a shield as well.. So far though, it works as good as any other intake and has a muted whoooshh sound thanks to the partially open diverter valve outlet. More on that part later..
