Top speed (governor limited): 155 mph

I think it's a legitimate comparison. The FX50S is the closest thing I would use to compare to the X6. Japanese cars have always provided better "value performance" while European cars (ie: BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, etc) have typically offered more status and prestige along with their performance.
